Did I Miss It!?

The fog on the leaves,  Made its way to the air.  I remember the droplets shining as the sun rose.  I now see the trace of it on the leaf.  Did I miss it!! Or it has just gone poof!? The farm on either sides of road,  Gone dry and the greens are found no more.  I remember the breeze setting my hair to wave at peace.  I now see the barren land staring at people cross by.  Did I miss it!! Or I never noticed the process!? The kid in our neighbourhood,  There was a sparkle in his eyes, a hint of innocence and purity.  I remember him jumping around, smiling his heart out all the time.  I now see him burying his head into books with tons of formulas.  Did I miss it!!  Or he has grown up so fast!?  The never ending conversations,  With those "will be forever" wala people in life.  I remember waiting at the end of the day to listen to each other's stories.  I now see each one of us hustling over our own issues....

A Girl Out In the Night

It was 8'o clock in the evening and Priya is still at the office working on a presentation she has to give the next day. She looked around to see if someone is there in the floor and all she found was  empty cubicles and blank monitors. She realised it's been late and started finalising the presentation. "Leave before its too late. " said the guard and left off. After some time she accidentally looked at her watch and realised she is gonna miss the last bus to her place if she don't rush now. She quickly packed her things, got out of the cubicle, rushed out of the office, ran towards the bus stop and found the bus has left a...

A Beautiful Gesture of Spreading Smiles

There is a saying, " If you see a person without smile, give him one of yours". I didn't actually realise the meaning of this till the time I experienced the beauty in spreading smiles.  It was a sunny morning when I happened to travel from my hometown to my friend's place. I boarded a local bus, It was unfilled and yet to depart. Then I started looking around to kill time and I found this cute little family with a girl child of 15 years of age may be. Her father was setting up her luggage in the bus and her mother was holding the girl's hand. She kept explaining something to her daughter which I'm not sure of while her father took some money from his pocket and placed it in her wallet. When the bus was about to start, both the parents hugged her, the girl got into the bus and they bid their byes to each other.  It isn't easy for a 15 year old to hide emotions and the girl started crying silently as the bus pulled ahead. Little did I know there was a 70 ye...
